How to Set Up Your World Wide Web Page

All AAEC Internet customers may set up a web page for personal use. The following section describes the steps that are needed to create your own web pages:

FTP to the server in your area:

All users - ftp nj1.aae.com

FTP software can be obtained from our ftp server by accessing the Getting Started section of our home page.

Login with your username and password.

You will be placed in your home directory. There you will see the public_html directory where you will need to place all of your html files.

Your individual Web page can be accessed at the following URL:

For all customers:

http://www.nj1.aae.com/~username/
* This will display the default "index.html" file.

http://www.nj1.aae.com/~username/filename.html
* This will display filename.html instead of the default.
